I figured out my problem. The Beats Studio 2.0 wired and wireless look exactly the same. I bought from Goodwill and they said they are wireless type. I figured they are not wireless, one side will be marked Studio and other Wireless; both sides say Studio therefore I have the wired type. Thank you for your help.

You literally saved my day and my emotional stability. I just had to get my beats replaced after having them for almost a year. The new ones were working fine last night, but suddenly this morning they weren't corporating. Your answer was honestly the most uplift thing I've read recently. It also works! Thank you

bluetooth headsets needs to be put in pairing / discovery mode to connect to new devices how one goes about doing so should be in the manual

bluetooth headsets can only connect with new devices when they don't have an active connection with another device so when I turn on my headset I need to make sure that it does not connect to my computer before I try to connect it with my iPhone or iPad if it does I need to break that connection before I can connect with the other device or pair with a new device

disconnect them from bluetooth in the bluetooth icon in the menu bar of your mac

put the headset in pairing mode

turn on bluetooth in the iOS device

it should find the paring mode headset

and then pair

if that does not work I would suspect a hardware defect somewhere
