I figured out my problem. The Beats Studio 2.0 wired and wireless look exactly the same. I bought from Goodwill and they said they are wireless type. I figured they are not wireless, one side will be marked Studio and other Wireless; both sides say Studio therefore I have the wired type. Thank you for your help.

I have tried everything above and still cannot get the power light on my Beats to go into pairing mode and blink blue. If I plug the Beats into a charger what volume down button do I press? The Studio 2.0 doesn't have a volume down button unless you plug in the aux/phone cord between it and your device, which it says not to do when you're attempting to pair the device.

I've never had an issue pairing any bluetooth device in my life...until these headphones. The Beats website is useless and it shouldn't be posing this many problems.

Can anyone give me some more detailed instructions on their solution since none of the above helped me?

Im having a similar problem. I tried all night yesterday to connect and couldn't. This morning I plugged in the AUX cord to listen to the headphones, then unplugged and tried to pair and was able to!!! But after 30 seconds of listening to Apple Music the bluetooth faded out and I lost connectivity. Now I'm unable to connect to my iPhone 6+ again. Apple, *** is wrong with your Beats? Didn't have problems like this when Monster was in control!

It doesn't sound as if your problem has anything to do with the subject of this thread. You may want to repost in the iTunes for Window section. You're more likely to get the help you need there.

And, by the way, we're all very smart people who could, if we chose steal every album we wanted. But, most of us don't because, in addition to being illegal and frowned upon by the owners of this forum, it's also wrong.

Best of luck

Hello everybody,

My beats studio wireless are experiencing the same problems as above but when I try the @NOBIGDEALDJ fix it still doesn't do anything! The beats just won't show up on my Ipod Touch or Android phone. When I go to the Beats website at the page where it says you need to plug in your Beats in the computer, the computer also doesn't see the Beats, they just don't show up, just like on the Ipod and phone.

I tried everything that was suggested like: - Press powerbutton for 10 sec --> reset

- Press powerbutton and volume down button for 5 sec (@NOBIGDEALDJ Fix)

- Connect them to the pc and update the firmware

I hope somebody has a solution for this.

(Also sorry for my crappy English 😉)

OK read thru all the issues and potential solution for connecting iPhone 5s and others to beats studio and none of them work. HOWEVER there is a solution. Go to BEATS website and update the firmware on the the headset and follow the instructions including renaming of the headset you have (recommended). After doing this remove the old blue tooth connection to the headset on the phone and then re-establish the new connection to the newly named beats. AFter this is done there will be no more disconnecting from the beats headset. All other techie notes did not help so just FYI. Up and running now after returning initial set of beats, updating phone etc and nothing helped until I did this. Xmas is saved!!!
