I just bought a macbook pro. At first, my messaging was working fine. I was seeing my iMessages on my computer as well as my iPhone. But randomly I stopped getting my iMessages on my macbook & when I messaged my friends from my computer, they said they were receiving it from my iCould email all of a sudden instead of my phone contact like before. How do I fix this?
IMessage can only use iCloud email from devices other than iPhone. The iPhone alone can use phone number.
If you want to see messages on both, change the send and receive on your phone to your email.

check your email address.
