how do I see progress of movie export

I have been trying fora while to save a 40 min movie to DVD. I shared as a master file to get a .mov. How can I see the progress of the export , to see if it's working?

I'm on a MacBook Pro 2.7 Inte, Core i& with 16 GB memory.

You can see the encoding progress in the red box...

Or, you can click on the % box (red square) and this window will pop up...

From there you can watch the encoding progress.
