I have an iPod Classic 120GB. When I sync it I don't get the entire library, only items I've purchased from iTunes. I have checked "entire library" on the sync page and nothing changes. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I just saw this question unanswered elsewhere. Is this an unsolvable problem? Unlike this forum to be....absolutely....empty.
iTunes won't normally sync unchecked files. Ctrl-clicking on any empty check box in the Songs or other list-based views will check all tracks displayed. iTunes also cannot sync tracks it cannot find. Any exclamation marks showing in the main listing of your library?

Thanks, but still nothing. All I have on the iPod are "manually added songs".
Then perhaps sync doesn't really have anything to do. Can you drag new files onto the device?

Thanks, again. It appears the issue is that my songs are in the cloud but not on my PC. now I can't figure out how to download them.
Were they on the computer before? See Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash.

I had thought so, but it's a relatively new machine so I may not have noticed that they hadn't.
Did you copy over your library from your last computer? Or did you assume that signing into your iTunes account would make everything appear?

I guess the latter, as it all did appear -- it just didn't go to the iPod.
Thank you for your help. I manually downloaded everything from the cloud into my laptop and then synced it. That worked. Thanks, again.
