13" rMBP using more RAM than usual

I know that Mavericks maintains a large amount of file cache and utilises a large amount of my RAM but recently my friend bought the same model and i've seen that his ram usage is much less than mine and even his battery life is more than mine. The only difference is that I had a Macbook before this so I restored some files from that mac. I want to know if its some kind of a virus or if theres something wrong with my mac.

p.s. Ive also reinstalled a fresh copy of Mavericks on my mac.

Unless both MBPs are configured exactly the same with the same applications and data, the comparison may not be valid. It is most unlikely the there is a virus. First read this Apple support article:

You may have other issues that are having a negative impact on the performance. Start with this guide:

For me the meaningful information in Activity Monitor is CPU, not Memory. I am looking for applications that may be using abnormally large resources and thus may have a negative impact on the performance of the MBP. In the image you posted, I see no problem aside that uTorrent is not an application that I would have on my MBP. It is an invitation to malware.

Here is a troubleshooting article that you may use to look for problems and possible solutions:
