Deleting apps from iPad 2

Deleting apps from iPad 2

I can't delete apps from my iPad. If I hold the icon down, it shakes, but there is no "X".

I have deleted the apps from iTunes.

What am I missing?

Check: Settings - General - Restrictions - Deleting Apps = ???
