Little Snitch blocks Mac App Store

After hours of searching, I found that if I have Little Snitch running, the Mac App Store does not work. It gives a white screen, and clicking on the top buttons does not do anything. When I disable the Little Snitch network filter, it everything functions properly.

I would like to have this solved, so I can use the App Store without having to turn Little Snitch off. Especially since all updates go through the App Store, and these are 'blocked' as well.

Off course I've tried to give the App Store all possible access in Little Snitch. It was working fine before.

Running a brand new iMac (Intel Core i5, 2.9 Ghz, 8G RAM), on Mavericks 10.9.4.

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

You don't need to reset everything! You'll wipe out all the connections you may have spent weeks configuring.

Simply open the network manager, click the link in the browser and it will highlight the rule in the network manager that is preventing connection. Them allow that a connection. Generally with the App Store it's entries starting with "store" such as "Storeaccountd" etc.

In Little Snitch, click "Show Network Monitor" from the menu.

- Click Apple Menu > Software Update

(As software update runs, you'll likely see the process "Apps Store via App Store Web Content" fire in the Network Monitor and text to the right will be displayed in RED).

- Right click the RED coloured text, and then click "Show Corresponding Rule"

- You can then approve the Disabled rule.

- Click Software update again, and you should be all good from here on.
