what is mz finance?

I restarted my Mac Air and the pop-up prompted for my pass, so I instinctively entered it, and as I was hitting the submit button, my brain was like, *** is MZFinance?

I can't believe there's been no response from Apple about this. I changed my password immediately, but so much for the steel wall of Apple products.

I have had contact with apple (via chat). I was told not to worry as it s part of a third party in app payment app. Possibly evernote. They advised me to just enter my password and that the messages would stop. I did not follow this advice, but the messages stopped anyway.

Don't know if i agree to trust the popup - but thought to give you guys a headsup.

Sounds to me like Apple iTunes has been hacked and Apple don't want to address that this has happened.

I've had the popup when starting my Mac for the last week, and i haven't bought anything (apps) in the past months.

Something definitely funny going on.

I have no idea. Perhaps you have tried to finance a purchase? I cannot find a mention of it just searching in iTunes, so you need to be more specific about where you came across it.

I received the same thing on my mac this morning...I have put in a support request with Apple...is there anything I should do until I hear from someone at Apple...up to 48 hours from now?

Wondering myself - just got the popup for the first time. I'm not entering my password and hoping to figure this out soon. If anyone gets an update, let's hear it! Thanks, jk

Yes, why hasn't Apple replied. Oh yes, I forgot. Apple is a hardware company. Software just gets in the way.
