How to change FaceTime camera on Mac

I use my MacBook Pro as a desktop sometimes and I have the Playstation Eye (USB camera for the PS3) and I was wondering if I could use that when I use my MacBook as a desktop. If so, how do I switch it from the built-in camera to the external camera?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3)

When you have more than one compatible camera connected to your Mac,

the FaceTime video menu will allow you to select which to use:

If you don't see the "Camera" sub-menu, your Mac is not recognizing multiple cameras.

Perhaps your Playstation Eye is not connected or is not compatible with your Mac.
