What is error code -8076? Why can't I rename a folder I have just created?

Well, the question is in the titel. I have been reorganising some files and folders and created a new folder for some files. All fine but then I want to rename the folder and I just get 'error code -8076'. No information can I find anywhere as to what this means or how I resolve it. Please, someone, just tell me what I need to do
