iCloud Add-in Keeps Disabling Itself in Outlook 2013

I have installed and synced the iCloud add-in with Microsoft Outlook 2013 (32-bit) on my Windows 8 (64-bit) desktop. It has worked reliably for more than one year, reliably syncing data between my PC, "the cloud" and my iPhone 4s. A few days ago, I noticed that the add-in was not enabled in Outlook. I enabled it via "file", "Options", "Add-ins" in Outlook and it then worked just fine. However, each time I closed Outlook and re-opened it, the add-in had once again been disabled and had to be manually enabled again.

I have uninstalled iCloud, "repaired" Outlook, re-installed iCloud and the situation has not resolved itself. I have now gotten used to the hassle of manually enabling the add-in each time I open Outlook, but I would obviously prefer to get things operating properly.

An suggestions how to solve this issue?

I've read many solutions using Windows 10/ Office Pro Plus 2013/ Outlook and this was only one that worked and easy fix. Says also worked on Windows 7 and 8.

Start Menu > regedit

Select :

Computer/HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/OFFICE/OUTLOOK/ADDINS - Apple.DAV.Addin -

On the right, double-click on LoadBehavior and check the value: if it say 0, set it to 3.

Ignore solution of trying to sign into outlook as admin/ uncheck icloud add-in/ restarting computer/ reopening Outlook as admin/ turning add-in back on/ signing out and back into Outlook normally.

oops-

when i tried to make changes in my calendar, it disabled and restarted Outlook. No prob. I made calendar corrections and enabled icloud add-in again and opens every time enabled.
