I'm using Pages to create invoices for our clients which works well except I'd like to add a percent discount e.g. 50% as the invoice is a deposit payment. Could anyone kindly point me in the right direction how to add this in Pages?

The only calculations that can be performed in any version of Pages is within table cells. If you had the following table entry (e.g. Pages v5(.2)),
then in cell E2, you would initiate your calculation with an ‘=’ followed by the calculation itself, and then a return, or clicking the green checkmark to close it. Note the parenthetical grouping. You would double-click the target cell (E2) if you want to edit the equation.
