What Does Flashing Green Power Cord Light Mean?
Today, my MacBook Pro Retina charging cord started showing a flashing green light on the mag-safe connector. What does this mean and how can I fix it?
MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

This sounds like some sort of power issue.
Are you using the 3 prong plug or the 2 prong (dusk head)? If you are using the dusk head try the 3 prong.
You can try a SMC reset:
Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
Also read thru this and check all that it suggests:
Apple Portables: Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters
Check/clean pins/sockets
If still no joy there may a damaged conductor in the cable/attachment to the brick issue.
You can take it to an Apple Genius bar for a free diagnosis/evaluation, bring both the computer and the power supply.
Make an appointment first, as they can be quite busy:

Thanks for the prompt reply. I tracked it down to a bad power strip here at the airport. I changed to another charging location, and the problem went away.
Just guessing, but it looks like the answer to my question is "voltage or other power irregularity." The same bank adequately charged my Bose headset, but computers are probably more finicky.
Ahh.
Glad your up and running properly, I assumed you were using it at a place that you always do. I've had strnge things happen in public places such as airports as well.😉
