My bluetooth devices are not receiving a signal even though the Internet is working fine.
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3)
What does the Internet have to do with it?
Is the mouse currently paired with another machine? Is the SoundLink Mini in discoverable mode? Can you verify that either one of those actually works?
Bluetooth is not internet/wifi.
System prefs > Bluetooth.

Yes they are both a signal but they don't do anything with each other.
Same way that cable TV and radio are both signals.
I guess the internet has nothing to do with it. I imagined both had a similar way of working. The mouse is not connected to another machine. The SoundLink is in discoverable mode. I can only give you my word that both works, just the other day they were working fine. Whatever Bluetooth is I guess it is just not working correctly right now.

No. They are not both a "signal".

Wireless is a signal, either wifi or cellular.
That signal can connect to different things.
Reset the SMC.

I shut the computer down and then restarted it. The Bluetooth is currently working. Thanks all for your help.
