I have 3 e-mail accounts entered in the Mail app. Until a couple of days ago I accessed all the accounts when I opened the mail app on my iPad mini. I can still access all the accounts thru the Mail app on my iPhone. When I open the Mail app in my IPad all I get is my gmail account. In the settings I can see that I have 3 email accounts entered.

If the accounts are 'on' then try closing the Mail app via the iPad's taskbar and see if they show when you re-open the app : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the Mail app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
Both mail accounts are listed, plus iCloud, are listed and turned on. Until a few days ago my mail showed up in both accounts. Now the Mailboxes and Edit arrows are missing from the tip of the page when I open my gmail. However, the Mail app icon on the Home screen still shows how many messages I have in the inboxes combined. The only way I can access the inbox that does not show in Mail is to go my internet provider on-line.
All the inboxes show up on mi IPhone. As far as I can tell, all the settings are the same.
I have no idea what I just did, but before following your suggestion all the mailboxes reappeared!
If you select each of those two email accounts in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars then Mail is set 'on' for them ?
