Office365 subscription activation

I purchased Microsoft Office for my iPad & then purchased the subscription to Office365, using my iTunes/AppStore account. When I attempt to activate the subscription, in Word/Excel/Powerpoint, it says I've not purchased Office365. Microsoft doesn't have record of my purchase either...but my CC# has been billed. How do I get this rectified?
