Hi guys, I have a problem finding the apple Id with which I made a purchase of an App, and I want to update that particular app but it won't let me because it says that the app is tied to another account. I want to know how to find the apple id to which the app is attached to, because I don't remember whose apple id from my family I used, including cousins, aunts, uncles... Hope you guys could help me with this.... Thanks in advance

If you doing it on your phone then the id should show in the Updates tab on it when you try to update it, you should get a popup with its id prompting you for its password - do you not get a prompt showing the account ? If you have the app in the Apps part of your computer's iTunes library then selecting it and doing 'get-info' (control-I) should give you a popup with the app's details, and the id should show the account id on the Summary tab on that popup
Hey, I understand what you are saying, but that's not my problem. When I try to update the app a message pops up saying " This update is not available for this apple Id either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled."
I was Trying to Update the App...... Back to the original question, I just want to know how to find out what apple Id was used to purchase the app so that I could Update the application..... every time I try to Update the App the following error message occurs "This update is not available for this apple Id either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled." is not about the app, is about what apple ID was used to buy the App so that I can use that Apple Id to update the Application
You may be trying to update the app, but if you were refunded for the app's purchase then you will not be able to download updates to it - you will need to delete the app and re-buy it. Normally when you try to update an app you will get a prompt which includes the account id and you only need to enter the id's password - so have you been refunded for that app's purchase ?
