I have a reoccurring issue where I'm unable to log into Profile Manager and Wiki after restarting the server and my only option is to restore from a clone.
I believe the problem is with Open Directory but I'm not sure how to fix it.
After restoring the server the logs show a repeating message of collabauthd throttling and restarting
Back up all data.
Quit the Server application and drag it to the Trash, but don't empty. You'll be prompted to confirm that you want to stop all services. You won't lose any data.
Put the app back where it was and launch it. Test.
Unfortunately that had no effect. I was wondering if it might be worth restoring the clone again, but before booting into it, try removing the server app so it doesn't start any services while it boots up
What do you get from this:
sudo /Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/usr/sbin/collabd_trampoline
I get "command not found"
You're running 10.8 Server. Maybe upgrading to 10.9 would get you a bug fix.
I've finally got an opportunity to follow your advice, my plan was to start totally from scratch tonight re-installing the server 10.9 as a new server, but today we have had a sudden spate of power cuts which forced the server to shutdown twice in close succession, and to my surprise I can now log into wiki server ?!?!
And no errors in the logs now.
But as its clearly unstable I'm still pushing ahead with a full re-install, including new OD
