I want to upgrade to maverick so I can run programs again but I am unable to because it says that I do not have enough memory. We have backed up our system 2 times and it still will not let us upgrade. So I have to buy something ?

Read ! afaik security leaks in Safari are still served by updates.

HELP! I downloaded Lion OS X and the updates per your advice. Safari browser STILL DID NOT update and my MacBook is more screwed up than ever!!!!!!!!!!!! I continue to receive messages that Safari can’t verify website....I don’t even have the option to return to a previous webpage let alone the browser home page!! My MB crashes...finder doesn’t show Mac HD...the problems go on and on...WHAT IS GOING ON??? THIS IS CRAZY AND SOOOOOOO FRUSTRATING!!!!
