Buying RAM - G.Skill vs. Patriot

I'm about to buy some RAM at Newegg.com and I was wondering which I should go with? I've read reviews for both and they are both good for the most part and the prices of the two are very close so price isn't really a factor. One review I read stated that the Patriot Ram will not run at 667mhz and only at 533. Is this true? I've also read that the GSkill RAM requires a lot of pressure to install. I've never installed RAM before so I wouldn't want to accidentally void my warranty. How does the Patriot installation compare? Thanks a lot

I purchased ----> F2-5400PHU1-1GBMB (1GB x 1) / Apple MacBook and MacBook Pro Compliant <---- from newegg. They don't have it anymore, but I would HIGHLY recommend it. I didn't have any problems getting into the computer. Needed firm pressure, but it fit like a glove. Also, G.Skill shows that this memory is compliant for MB/MB Pro. Ran Memtest 3 times and it all checked out. You can find this mem for ~200 others places.

Best of luck

This site is always a good place to start.

I've used memory from:
Omni Technologies
18004memory.com
in both my MacBook's and my Mac Mini's without any problem.

Prices have gone up in the past few weeks. About a month ago I bought 1GB SODIMM's for around $79.00 each.

PS I don't think I saw either brand listed... ??
