text message delivery reports iPhone 4s

is it not possible to get delivery reports on an iPhone? and if not why not i so miss my android for this service

Hey there Clover,

It sounds like you want to see whether or not your message has been seen by the recipient. You can enable this for iMessages in your settings. The function is called Read Receipts:

Go to Settings > Messages to set options for Messages

No i wanted to get a report that told me others had received my texts, not just iPhone people but everyone, other phone companies have this facility but hay hoe looks like i’m not going to get this facility with apple

Sorry Clover, but SMS does not have that sort of capability with any manufacturer or carrier. However, iMessages is still a great way to double check if someone has read your message provided they have an iPhone with iMessaging.
