Hi, I have my apple tv stopped and search date and time, i have update at last firmware, also itunes. I can not even register home sharing.

Set wi-fi off on my iphone, maked a hotspot, connect it with my Apple tv and it was done.

Any advice for fixing the this issue if unable to create a local hotspot on my phones?
I have tried resetting router, modem, apple tv, even restoring all back to default settings.
Checked router settings and don't think port 123 is blocked as some have suggested may be the issue.
Struggling with this issue as the apple tv is useless currently.
