blurry spot in the middle of imac monitor
Hi, I have a blurry spot in the middle of my imac screen. Has anybody ever had this happen to them? It is the shape of a kidney bean.

This is likely either a dirty display or a hardware issue. If the problem is still there after cleaning the display you can try running Apple's Hardware Test in Extended Mode at least 2-3 times back to back. While AHT is not an extremely reliable test (the reason for running it 2-3 times back to back) if it does find errors they are correct. If AHT locates an error simply take it in for service and let them know what the error code is.
However, if your machine is covered by AppleCare and/or is still under warranty simply book a Genuis appointment or take it to your local AASP and get the machine serviced.
