Showtime on Apple TV = not working

Does Showtime Anytime work for anyone else? I get "There was an error in the application, try again." or it just tries to access Showtime Anytime and just spins.

Was this app not tested prior to release?

Every other application except Showtime works fine on My Apple TV. There has to be something basically wrong with the Showtime App., if you have to do a full restore and reset of the device to get Showtime to work. For me it isn't worth the hassle. At least with a Roku you can delete and reinstall a specific app. that is giving you problems.

Restore didn't work for me, it just gets stacked despite all the work after the update.

I have also similar issue with NBC, but with NBC it could be a bandwidth issue as the quality clearly deteriorates before the screen gets frozen. However with Showtime there is clearly an Apple TV issue as the iPad Showtime app plays fine. Another interesting thing is that when I try to use Airplay on the iPad it just gets frozen the same way.

Until last May Apple TV was playing all Showtime content fine, after that I cancelled the subscription for whole summer and now after renewal I am getting the freezing problem.

I raised a ticket with Showtime support and they are looking into it, but based on their questions I don't thing we'll be able to locate the issue since all questions are around bandwidth and WiFi speed. All other channels are playing fine and when streaming HD over iTunes works fine this should work fine as well.
