Trying to buy book I created. When I hit "checkout" nothing happens. It's not like Apple to not want to make more money. Any ideas?

it's an issue that's happening all over the world. I think that, right now, there isn't a solution.

I've tried to change network, router, open and close ports, remove and install iPhoto, another admin, another project.

Which tests are you trying?

I thought it was something I was doing wrong! I've ordered books for years from Apple and never had an issue. Just ordered a large print on Friday with no issues. Hopefully they resolve the issue quickly. Want my son's wedding album that I just created! Thanks to all who responded. Now I can move on to other tasks!

Still having problems ordering the book on Monday 1 Sep, in USA.

Same for me. I've been trying since last night. I don't understand why there wouldn't be an error message, even something like "Unknown Error", when talking to the server. It shouldn't just silently fail for 12 hours straight.

Please, Apple engineers, help a brother out!

I am having the same issue. I have tried it from my iMac and Air. Very frustrating....need to get this done.

Ordering a book from iPhoto is still not working in the US on Sept 1st.

What baffles me is the non-response from Apple on this. Doesn't seem very user friendly and will make people look to other services for sure.

Way more than 12 hours! I started trying around 11:30 p.m. Eastern on Friday night and have been unable since then. Apple seemed unaware of the problem when I first phoned yesterday but by the time I had my last (of four) phone calls yesterday afternoon, they knew it was a problem and said the engineers were trying to fix it. Still, I'm surprised it's not working yet!

Extremely Frustrating. This error is occurring for me too. I would have used Shutterfly or another service had I known this would be so unreliable. Please fix Apple! I need this for a timely birthday present.

Having the same issue ordering a Folded Card, extremely Frustrating; this error is occurring for me too. Love IPhoto and ease of creating this type of projects but known buying it would be so unreliable would had used another program. I need to send this personalized thank you card pretty soon

That is interesting. I tried to order prints in Aperture three hours ago and had the same problem. Perhaps Cupertino is finally fixing the problem.

Service is back. I'm uploading a Photobook right now, after two days of frustrating attempts.

Make sure, no firewall and antivirus filter can be interfering, also turn off the energy saver, so the mac will not fall asleep at a critical moment and cause time outs.
