Is it reliable to buy Macbook from MacMall?

Go with amazon instead. they also offer a $100 rebate and are completely reliable. they also have a great return policy with no hassle should something be wrong with your macbook.

For what its worth, I got my macbook from macmall. Order placed on a Monday and I received it on that Friday.

If MacMall were my only choice I'd not buy the product.

I believe MacMall is an authorized re-seller for Mac as well.

I did get my black from PCConnection / MACConnection along with other 2 whites and an iPod. All work well until now.

Make sure you sent your mail in rebate within their time range (3 weeks?), for PCConnection turndown my mail in rebate since I slightly miss their allowed time range.

Be advised and please check their return policy, for you might have to return it directly to apple if something happen.

You've got to be joking!!! However, if you're serious, I strongly recommend you go to www.macbookrandomshutdown.com and read some of the comments posted before shelling out your hard-earned dough!

I love love love my MacBook -- when it's working. Unfortunately, that's not too often. You see, MacBooks have a propensity to suffer from Random Shutdown Syndrome (unaffectionately known as RSS) and Apple's customer service has been less than perfect to say the least.

and this is exactly why he should use Amazon.com. They have a superb return policy which allows you to either get a replacement or a full refund within 30 days of your purchase. In my quest to get a functioning and functional Apple laptop I have returned numerous machines to since May. Never a question asked. If you have any problems whatsoever with your Mac book, simply return it.

I bought my Intel iMac from Amazon.com. No problems. Plus, you can submit your rebate via the web. I received the rebate check before my credit card statement arrived. I plan to buy a MacBook from them as soon as Apple gets around to upgrading them to the Core 2 Duo.

Sheesh! Wish I'd gotten my MacBook from Amazon instead of the local Apple store!
