Filter how, exactly? You need a better explanation of what you are asking about.
I'd like the email program to sort out junk emails and place them in the junk folder when they arrive. I get a lot of them that my provider already marks as junk; you know, the ones that offer me millions of dollars if I help them bring money in the country. I m ust get 3 or 4 of those each day.
this is usually a email provider feature not a email client feature
I use a utility called SpamSieve 2.9.15. Works like a champ and I find it better than Mail's built-in junk filter. But if you prefer just activate the Junk filter in Mail's preferences.
Thanks Kappy but my issue is with my iPad. I did set my providers options to move Junk directly to the Junk Mail folder. I'll see how that works.
Are you getting mail on your iPad pushed from your computer? If so, then you should not get junk mail on it. But you will if it comes from your mail provider, so then you need to use your provider's junk filter.
Right; i just made a change to the providers options and I think that will solve my problem.
