It's amazing how Apple is making UIs worse and worse... Starting by iOS, iTunes itself, and unfortunately, going all the way down to things like iTunes Connect.

Before, it was so simple: you upload a binary and it says binary received/not received. Instantly. Now, even after you get the "binary successfully submitted" using the uploader, you still need to be a scientist to figure out how the new iTunes Connect works... Was it Sir Ive's "magic touch" as well?

Why make it so complicated?

Why does it take so long after you submit a binary?

Why the "Processing" section under the "Prerelease" tab is not on the top of the page and in RED color?

Why make things WORSE?

Why, Apple, why?

Even this reply editor/box here... using Safari, they can't manage to make it work with the good old text cursor bliking wherever you click at? Seriously!?

My solution. An unnecessary steps added by APPLE

After uploading the IPA. I went to iTunes Connect to see what was going on.

Noticed it still said Waiting for Submission - Yellow Colour.

Scroll down and find the BUILD section. - important
Click on the + icon and select the uploaded IPA. - important

Click on Save. - important

Click on Submit for Review.

iTunes Connect asked me the same old 3 questions.

Answered the questions.

Now the status is "Waiting For Review" - Yellow Colour..

That doesn't solve most of us problem here. The problem is that, now, Apple decided to introduce a new step in the flow.

Besides having to wait for apps review and approval, now developers have to wait for an additional "binary review" before the binary can be selected before you can even submit the app.

It wouldn't be a problem if binaries were processed as they've always been in the past, but now Apple decided that binaries should take as long as they wish to become available, -without- any progress status, additional information or time/date to become available.
