I've been ******* with it for days trying to get it to work.
My account is verified, when I hit sign in, it just stays there until I hit cancel.
Software + FaceTime are both updated... what could be wrong??

I went to Imessage and I tried to start a new message , the message failed and I was promoted to enable account....
I was able to enable my account and then facetime logged in. Hope this works for you.
This solution didn't work for me. I still have this issue.
just shutdown your system and then restart it...
