You need to update iTunes to 11.4. However, myself and many other people are getting a system extension error after doing this update.

I would wait a day or so to see if Apple fixes this iTunes problem.

The error after updating iTunes is:

System extension cannot be used

The system extension “/System/Library/Extensions/AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext” was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product’s vendor for an update.

I had a similar issue where it didn't show up. What worked for me was similar to a solution others found- Clicked the 'add-to' dropdown in my Purchased music folder, found the album in the menu it opened up (I had went into preferences, turned on Cloud visibility beforehand) command clicked all the songs and clicked 'download'. Now it's in my main library.

P.S. Also along the way I updated the user agreement (it brought up the menu).

pixelwild suggestion was the one out of all the above that worked for me (sign out of account, got to U2 page, click on the album, sign in when prompted and THEN will start to download). 😎

William Kucharski's Tip worked for me as well. Not sure if this is a issue with an auto-deploy not working correctly with my PC. Is this a security issue where a computer won't allow files to download, yet the account in I-tunes got the pointer as if it had?

At least there is a workaround.

The workaround is easy to beat if you have a touch screen on the timing.

There is really no reason to be playing "Beat the Clock" to get your album. You need to go to the "Purchased" option under the Quick Links section in the iTunes STORE (make sure you are signed into iTunes):

Then click on the little cloud in the upper corner of the album to download it:

This worked for me, too, but like others have said I had only a second to click the FREE button. Still, that's practice for my reflexes.
