Songs of Innocence not in library??

Pixelwild's solution worked for me, but only after a couple of tries. I got a message that said iTunes was not available, try again later. I think what we're seeing is an overload of iTunes from people trying to download the album.

I finally just signed in and out of iTunes, and that was enough to kick Songs of Innocence into my library.

Changing preferences worked for me. One prob with many things Apple. There are no extensive setup instructions. I'd never thought of preferences.

Changing preferences worked for me as well! After changing that everything worked as explained on the Apple web site.

What exactly does "show iTunes in the cloud purchases" do? Prior to Apple doing this I never managed to make a purchase "in the cloud" that did not show up on either my Mac or IOS devices.

This worked for me:

1. On the front page of the iTunes store, under the Quick Links heading (top of the right side, under the banners), click Purchased.
2. At the top of the Purchased page, click Music.
3. Locate the U2 album and click the download icon (top right corner of the album icon, a white cloud on a black background).

II've got the opposite, I've suddenly got loads of u2 songs of innocence songs that I didn't download and don't wart

If it's listed as "Purchased", then you can also go into your Purchased page and download the songs from there.
