I am on my I-pod IOS 6.1.6 Model Number MC54oll/a I can not get my wi-fi to turn on. I go to settings hit wi-fi and and the OFF is showing I try to slide to on but it will not slide to ON! What can I do?

I have also noticed my bluetooth is grayed out also and says unavailable. My VPN says not connected. Would that have anything to do with the wi-fi being grayed out and not working???? I am not sure why this thing is not working. I also went in and reset netwook settings. That still did nothing.
