Apple Diagnostics PPP003 problem

When I run Apple Diagnostics (Press and hold the D key while power on) on my Macbook Pro with Retina display (15-inch, Late 2013, ME294), it reports PPP003 (There may be an issue with the power adapter).

As the screen said "Disconnect the MagSafe power adapter from the computer and the power outlet, then reconnect. Run the test again.", I tried and it also reports PPP003.

I did follow test.

First, I ran Apple Diagnostics with two power adapter from my friends, both is 85W for 15-inch Macbook Pro, and it also reports PPP003.

Second, I ran Apple Diagnostics on my friend's 15-inch Macbook Pro with my power adapter, and it reports ADP000 (everything is OK).

The tests above was running while Macbook Pro's battery is in charging (NOT full).

Third, I ran Apple Diagnostics on my Macbook Pro while battery is FULL (NOT in charging), and it reports ADP000.

So I think the trouble is my Macbook Pro not the power adapter, and it's appeared during charging.

I went to the Genius Bar, but the assistant of Apple Retail Store can NOT found any problem with their in-house diagnostics utils or "deep diagnostics" over one night (I think the Macbook Pro was charged soon during test). And they did not give me a answer.

Does anyone can help, or had the same trouble?

I'm guessing here, but it could be that magsafe input port is dirty. Apple recommends cleaning it with a cotton swab or a soft toothbrush:

Others report (temporary) success with using isopropyl alcohol:

This is just a guess on my part, but I would reset the SMC and the PRAM:

It cannot do any harm and it may help.

This is a bug in apple diagnostics. Your battery has to be fully charged (green magsafe led) when running the test to prevent that error. The error appears only in ONLINE version 1.0.10r2. The original OFFLINE version 1.0 that came with your MBP is working correctly.

Уважаемый к formuchena у меня PRO 2014 ноутбук Mac Book (середина года).

У меня есть подключенный же ситуация с ошибкой на код PPP003 !!!

Я провел диагностику повторно. Пришол к следующим выводам:

1. При аккумулятора при зарядке также платить меньше, чем 100% выдает ошибку о вероятности выхода из строя адаптера питания.!

2. При 100% заряда однозначно показывает, что система исправна.

Но ведь я обеспокоен, и я прошу, чтобы написать, когда это возможно для меня мнение на эту ситуацию.

Давайте обсудим в глобальном масштабе в чем причина такого поведения системы диагностики ноутбука.

Good afternoon!

Respected to the formuchena at me the MAC BOOK PRO 2014 laptop (the middle of year).

I have the connected same situation with a mistake on the PPP003 code!!!

I carried out diagnostics repeatedly. Prishol to the following conclusions:

1. When the accumulator on charging is also charged less than 100% gives out a mistake regarding probability of malfunction of the adapter of food.!

2. At 100% a charge unambiguously shows that the system is serviceable.

But after all I am concerned and I ask to write whenever possible to me the opinion on this situation.

Let's discuss globally in what the reason of such behavior of system of diagnostics of the laptop.

So it's a bug? not a problem of the charger? you did the test with different charger?
