Photostream folder disappeared in iOS 8, along with all my photos in that folder. Please help!

Hello,

I just upgraded my iPhone 5 to iOS 8. I only had about 20 photos stored on my phone, and about 100 photos in my Photostream. After updating to iOS 8, I cannot find any of these photos that were in my Photostream, and cannot even find that folder on my iPhone.

Were these photos deleted?

Thank you,

Dan

I am so ****** !!!

It is not up for Apple to decide how to use the space on my iPhone. If I want to buy a 128 gig phone and use 64 of that for photo storage that is my prerogative . The latest changes in these last two releases to the camera roll and to the photo stream are as confusing as anything I have ever seen.

The entire pictures application needs a rewrite and needs to be parameterized to allow me to select where things go and how long I keep them.

I have completely abandoned apple for photo storage, photo organization, photo archival, and photo edits. This a direct result of apple's refusal to listen to the voice of the customer and to design a robust application that works in the real world.

I use photos as a to do list of sorts, to capture ideas that need further development, to document the state of things AND to remind me of memories. Photographs are more a life and business tool for me than they are for mere enjoyment.

If you want a superior product of choice private message me and I'll be glad to tell you who I'm using.
