It's in the Settings "iCloud".

I feel the same way. I was very disappointed that iCloud Drive was not going to work like Dropbox. But OK. Then I downloaded the latest versions of Pages and Numbers and so forth and excitedly tried to find iCloud in them. Nothing! I have been trying now for a day, reading everything I can on the Net and relooking in Pages over and over again and cannot find iCloud anywhere. It is not working, like at all, in anyway!

I have never been this disappointed in Apple. I was upset that it wouldn't work like Dropbox, But I was willing to go with their way of doing it, but it doesn't work, it is nowhere????? I have been using Apple products since the early 80s and have loved their products. I even have shares in the company.

But today when I tried again and couldn't find any straight answer or simple instructions on how to use it even if it will only work inside an App like Pages, it is still not working.

I gave up around 10am this morning, gave my iPad to a friend and went and bought a Microsoft Surface! It does what I was looking for and more, right out of the box. Sent this message from it.

PS: This is just too funny. I went to see if iCloud drive would work on the Surface via the webpage, which also won't work properly on my iPad and yep, you guessed it. It works on my Surface. FAIL! APPLE FAIL. lmao.

Here is a screenshot of how this is supposed to work. My suspicion is that the functionality is not yet implemented for most of the apps. The app that is working here is Dropbox. To get the selected screen, hit + for add files then iCloud and you will see what Apple has shown. I suspect this is not yet implements for Pages, Numbers and Keynote or other apps where the developers need to update. This is the only app I have found that works.

I found a possible band-aid for our problem:

1) On iOS 8 Device, go to Safari / iCloud.com

2) Once you get to iCloud.com, you'll notice it won't give you the option to log in.

3) Tap on the URL bar (this should bring up your bookmarks bar and Frequently Visited Sites)

4) Tap, Hold, and Slide your finger down on that section (this will reveal two options: (1) Add to Favorites, and (2) Request Desktop Site

5) Tap Request Desktop Site

Log in as usual, and you can now access iCloud Drive with your PDFs and other documents like any other computer.

I too am disappointed as I was looking forward to view PDF's shared between my Macbook and my iPad, but I think this should work until Apple comes out with a solution.

What Apple have to do is so SIMPLE to overule Dropbox / Google Drive / Copy.com / Sugersync / live cloud etc etc ..

Create a app or function inside IOS so it will open you iCloud Drive area so you can see all the folder created in iCloud Drive for example

I created :

Photography/Architecture/ 12 photos

Photography/Macro/ 3 photos

Documents/Photoshop/ 3 PDF files

Documents/Finance/ 2 word files and 2 excel files

When you open this iCloud Drive app it will show icons of Photography and Documents and you can go into them.

You see the file extension in the icon. You can open it and it will automatic open right app or ask for it if there are more pictures can be open in different once

Also share them with people... only view...

If they look in to the COPY.com structure then they have to know that this is a very strong company and have build it very well

The way how iCloud Drive now is build is not enough to be strong and flexible...

Use Puffin. There is a free version in the app store (you don't need the paid version for this).

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/puffin-web-browser-free/id472937654?mt=8

I use Puffin to (successfully) get around the limitations of Safari/mobile/touch browsers in a lot of difficult situations.

I have just tried, and you can successfully log in to iCloud.com on iOS with Puffin and access Mail. A hint: You may need to pinch-to-zoom out sometimes to get the interface to redraw to fit your screen, even though it's not obvious this will work. Just try it if things aren't displaying right 😉
