Please help us , Apple. Was that difficult to crate an app like dropbox, one drive....????

For iOS devices, there really isn't a need for one. As with the previous iteration of iCloud, iCloud Drive will integrate directly with apps that are designed to use it (and that you permit to do so). In addition to file specific apps, this includes several file management apps. But overall, the most efficient way of using it will be directly in the app you wish to use for the file yo want to open.

I disagree, it doesn't make sense at all actually. If I'm navigating a folder full of work files, I don't want to open keynote to view a presentation, exit keynote and open up pages to view a doc file, exit pages and open up ibooks to view a pdf file. That's the worst workflow possible. Which reminds me, there is still no pdf solution in iOS. Having an app that provides a central location to view all your files makes much more sense for productivity. I guess I'll have to stick with dropbox/drive.

Everyone's needs are different but I don't want my files spread across multiple app containers. I like having all relevant files in one folder, just like you would organize your files in Finder on your mac. A cloud drive app that would allow viewing of PDF/keynote/pages is perfectly within the capacity of Apple's programmers. I can understand having the specific apps launch when editing is necessary (like google drive/docs/slides).

If other people didn't like organizing their files this way, google drive and dropbox wouldn't be popular apps. These are good solutions to file management on a mobile device. I was hoping to move my files to iCloud to keep everything "apple," but if not that's ok because there are already other services that work well.

There is no built-in PDF solution, obviously. There is an app for everything, but this discussion board is for apple products/services.

Hey i just found your solution. There's an app (that isn't from apple) on the App Store that manages iCloud Drive stuff. It only READ. You can't create folders or upload stuff, only see what's there, and make download of the stuff. To make folders, or upload stuff, take a visit at http://www.icloud.com. The app link (shorten): http://bit.ly/1DkC9Oc
