iOS8 I can't find the iCloud Drive Icon. Where is t?

If you want to create folders in iCloud Drive you can do this with PDF Expert. You can populate the folders with file types other than PDFs.

I've got the app ... now I'm waiting for iOS 8.1 so I can get iCloud Drive ... :-) ...

Download an app called Documents 5. it's free and it works like a champ. The app uses touch ID too. When in the app touch the menu(top left) and press open and you will see iCloud drive. you can also click the cloud icon on the bottom then you will see a iCloud drive access from there too. Hope this helps.

Here's what I've found. It's kind of backwards, but it works.

Open an iWork app, Pages for example, then tap the + sign in the upper right hand corner and then tap iCloud.

Open the app find the files. Numbers shows numbers sheet, pages shows pages sheets, i believe ibooks shows pdf's. But your right it would be nice to have an apple app that you can manage files with on phone or iPad.

I don't understand why Apple doesn't have an App.

Their are bugs in Apples iCloud as I've tried other apps to open PDF's and still have the same bugs.

Example, iCloud will crash when you try to scroll through the files, files cannot be kept in order, and when you open iCloud from the app they open all over the place.

This is not about iCloud used by Macs ita about ISO 8 icloud for iPads and iPhones.

Do you really think that what is happening on yours is normal?

Take it to an Apple Store and ask them to fix it.

And if you must have an equivalent to the Windows Explorer so you can find files there are 3rd party apps available in the app store.

Thanks but if I get the same bugs on both iPhones 5s, iPad Air and iPad air 2 their has to be a problem with iso8 iCloud. I don't use windows at all and never will.

Are you having trouble understanding what I write?

Using iMac. I can put any file into iCloud Drive, but I can't open iCloud Drive on iPad.

In the setting, there is iCloud, and iCloud Drive is on, but there is no way to open it.

I understand if I use Page or other iCloud soft, I will be able to open them. but there is no way to open the whole iCloud Drive on iPad.

My question is why?

Their is not an Apple iDrive for iCloud Apple is crazy. You'll meed to down load from the iPad App Store, and the one I use is documents it takes a few hours for all your iCloud files to down load but works.

What possible reason could you have to access a document in iCloud Drive, if you don't have an app to open it. If you have an app to open it, then you have access to your document.

What a crazy idea, now you have an extra, unsynchronised copy that is only on your iPad.

Why bother with iCloud Drive at all?
