Multitasking Gestures occasionally fails (ios 8)

i just upgraded to iOS 8, now gestures fails occasionally when in apps. I try to swipe up with four fingers, and pinch wih four fingers, but none of them works. I had to use the button to exit. Did anyone else experience this?

I have this issue too. Also, another weird quirk: In messages, the quick video message functionality doesn't work. If I press and hold the camera button, all I get is the standard option to send a picture. The quick audio message does work. I actually did restore my ipad (super annoying), and it made no difference. Anyone else have this issue?

in exactly the same position. Brand new iPad air 2 bought after selling my air 1 replacement unit for exactly the same bug. Diagnostics showed many issues with the old one and it has carried over to the new iPad Air 2. There are instances in Safari where I click on something and it won't go to the link. I have to pull down the notification screen about a third of the way down the page before clicking the link for it to work. Pulling down the notification screen also rectifies the gestural issue we are having - temporarily. When using procreate, there are apparent issues when using gestures (twisting the canvas for ease of painting, etc).

buggy as **** and I'm not happy with the lack of support. I have reset and reinstalled both of my devices into double digits now both over wifi and connected to a pc. It's still happening. My old iPad 3 for work has not updated to 8 as we aren't allowed to yet - that iPad works absolutely fine.
