Cellular Data not Working after iOS 8 Upgrade

I am having a similar issue with my 5s. My phone says "no service" in my apartment, even though I normally have good signal strength. My husband's phone (purchased at the same time but has not been updated to ios 8), maintains its usual signal strength. I am unable to make/ receive calls. I have tried turning the phone on/ off, re-syncing it, turning to airplane mode, turning cellular data on/off, all with no luck. Somebody help!

Add one more to the list. I have an iPhone 5 on Sprint, and have the same problem. I guess that's the risk of updating before the bugs are worked out. Hopefully they send an update soon...like today.

I contacted apple support yesterday and they had me try resetting my network settings and then restoring my phone. Neither worked and they advised me to contact verizon. I contact verizon tech support. They tried a few things and ultimately told me that it was a network issue and are replacing my phone.

I got my new iPhone 6 with iOS 8 installed and cellular data doesn't work on it. I tried network settings resetting, turning to airplane mode, turning cellular data on/off but nothing helped. At the same time on my old iPhone 5 with iOS 7 cellular data was working perfectly. Then I updated iPhone 5 to iOS 8. It was a mistake. Now I have two iPhones with no cellular data working! Somebody HELP!!

I have a IPHONE 5 and i had the same problem, i called my carrier and after about 2 hours they fixed it, i recommend you call your carrier. ASAP

IPhone 5 AT&T here doing the same thing. It randomly shuts off and when I turn it on, it says searching... Lte in the upper left. To get the bars to show I just have to make a phone call. Never had this issue on iOS 7.

I have iPhone 4S with AT&T and cellular data is no longer working for me, too 😠 I even did a soft-reboot (Home+Power button) in vein.

I just upgraded my iPhone 5S to iOS8 3 days ago and my Cellular Data stopped working:

. Wi-Fi Working

. Whatsapp Working

. Facebook Working

. But all browsing, 3G and 4G and LTE, Safari stopped working.

I tried factory reset, restore, Airplane On and Off but none of it worked.
Until I discovered that my VPN Network was trying to connect automatically. I went to Settings--> VPN--> Profiles--> Delete

Voila!. Everything was working again.

* Note previously on iOS 7.1.2, I had a VPN Profile called Onavo which was working fine. It just screwed up on iOS 8 so I had to delete it.

From today evening my cellular data started working. I didn't change anything in my phone, though.

This was bugging me with my iPhone 5 as well. Finally I have a cellular connection again!! I had a VPN set up (Onavo) - I deleted the VPN profile and bingo all is good again....

OMG Back the truck up Apple, Same problem here. FIX ASAP please ! 😮

Try resetting network settings. It worked for me. I had been having issues with data since i updated. Hope this helps.

I went to Verizon and they fixed it.

I have an ipad 2 and the cellular function keeps turning itself off. This is corrected when I reboot, but I am having to do this everytime. I have updated to IOS8 and it is a mess. My iphone is doing very strange things too. Don't upgrade if you haven't already.

I have similiar issues with my iphone5c except both my cellular data AND my wifi don't work.
