Cellular Data not Working after iOS 8 Upgrade

Updated to iOS 8 on iPhone 5 today and the phone doesn't seem to download anything on cellular data. iMessages do not send (red ! bang and "Not Delivered") or receive when on cellular data, and apps do not refresh. When I finally reconnected to wifi, about 15 iMessages appeared instantly and apps were able to load normally

Calls OK.

Wifi OK.

Tried power cycling a couple times and toggling airplane mode to refresh LTE connection, but no luck. Phone says it's has an LTE connection in upper left corner. Cellular and LTE are both ON in Settings

Verizon phone.

Austin, TX service.

iPhone 5, iOS 8

With me LTE works fine until I had a wifi connection. After that mobile data is gone until reboot. IPhone 5 with 8.0.2.

same issue on iPhone 4s,no cellular data even though it shows 3g only after iOS 8 update,same issue on 8.02

I have the same problem with Iphone 5 in Singapore with Starhub as the Telco provider. This happened since the upgrade to IOS ver 8.0. Cellular data disconnects intermittently and only way to resolve is to restart. I have tried to reset network settings, as mentioned on this post and will monitor for next few days as the problem surfaces again, intermittently.

Hi Ravinder

my problem came back after awhile too. The next thing I tried which seem to work is to completely restore your iphone - this will force the ios to be reinstalled too. Do remember to back up all data before doing this step so that you can restore back from back up if anything goes wrong. This works for me and its already 2 days no problem. I'm on Singtel.

My problem suddenly vanished after about the sixt reboot. Now cellular data works reliably even after being disconnected from wifi. No guess why that is.

I Have the same issue since upgrading to ios8 there is no service to the cellular data network.

Exact same problem and its' November Apple!!!!! Three to four bars before updating OS, now one or none. My GF has Apple iPhone 4 no update sitting next to me with four bars. Insane! Pls don't tell me it's the carrier.

Try restoring the iOS again and if that doesn't help, manually select your carrier instead of leaving it to automatic.

I have this issue, I have a prroblem that my network setting forr mobile are all turned on. so mobile data on etc
my network supplier there is signal but i am not able to receive 3g at all. So Im getting signal but not properly

anyone got any ideas why this is

i have more problem after software update - my phone everytime in «Searching...» Without celluar its like iPod!. and Apple Center told me that it is hardware problem. But before software update everything was OK. So NO MORE FKNG UPDATE, APPLE!
