Software updates download is very slow

Has anyone solved this?

I have been getting around 0.2kbps downloading apps and songs from iTunes.

I have tried everything, from switching DNS to Google/OpenDNS, rebooting router, etc. I'm getting 25.71mbps download in the internet health test. But about 0.2kbps from the iTunes store. Hours to download an app, 30 minutes to download a song.

I'm not using CenturyLink, which people keep bringing up on the Apple support forums. I have Time Warner Cable, an E3200 Cisco Router, and Arris cable modem.

Is anyone else experiencing this crap???

Do not let this guy take your computer. He is investigated by the CIC (police) in Puerto Rico. Has 42 complaints in Department of Consumer Affairs. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ELECTRONICS TO VONCI COMPUTER. He does not fix your equipment, does not give the money back and hides from PR authorities. BE AWARE

The same problem in Europe. It's much faster downloading directly from the page of itunes in apple's web.

Similar problem in australia!! I'm with Optus. When I download the update from Apple Website it takes 5 min. When I try to do it from the app store or software update it is very very slow it take hours and hours... *** is going on!!! I try to change DNS and it doesn't change anything only going through a VPN I can have normal download speed.
