iPad Air WiFi (5GHz) issues after iOS 8 upgrade

I Am having exactly the same problem since upgrade. I am also finding my battery life is much shorter than before. iPad also seems very sluggish. Never had these problems before upgrade.

iit's interesting that it only is an iPad problem. IPhone must have a different location algorithm involving cells.

Just tested ios 8.1 beta 2. Can confirm the wifi issue has been resolved.

My iPad Air has exactly the same issue since the upgrade to iOS 8. It will work for about 3 seconds on 5Ghz but as soon as you call up another webpage it hangs!

Please issue a fix soon, Apple!

Yes add me to the list. 2.4 ghz stable but 5 ghz is good for 10 seconds

Yes, my iPad Air doesn't work stable on 5GHz. I'm using a new AirPort Time Capsule with 802.11ac WiFi as router.

add another iPad Air to the list of WiFi problems. I've had to dust off my dell laptop and put my iPad away as it is no use to me anymore. I highly regret doing the ios8 update

They might fix it with 8.1 on Monday.

My iPad is doing the same whether using wifi or 3G sim. I am so over having to re start it all the time to restore the connection.

Come on Apple, get this fixed already!!!!
