iphone 6 plus pre-order delivery

If they don't start shipping phones faster Apple is start losing customers with the new Note coming out. Apple is producing 540,000 iPhone 6's and plus's a day so a person wouldn't think that it would take long to fill orders but AT&T is just going to take there sweet old time I guess, I don't know how the others carriers are doing but AT&T should be able to give better dates than the end of November which is when mine is supposedly going to ship. Come on Apple and AT&T get your stuff together. I only ordered a iPhone 6 Plus 64GB silver.....trying to wait happily.....

Might be the kinda wrong place to ask this question but,

How can I find out when there might be inventory in the stores. I need to make my purchase at a store and walk out with a phone in hand that day not a pre-order due to using credit from a trade in to partially pay for the new device. I would consider ordering and then do the trade in but i really do not have a need for $400 in Apple gift cards, nor having bill credit from ATT I would rather have the value of my old phones go towards the new ones. Anyone know where I can possibly check for press releases or something might come out from Apple to let us know when they will have stock in the stors?

The Apple store near me said they get a shipment in Tues-Sat and it's on a first come first serve basis so you have to get there early in the a.m. and hope they have the model you want and if not do it again the next day.

Well looks like im canceling my order. I was told my order wouldnt be delivered till the end of November. Guess i have to change my 26 lines over to the galaxy or the new note.

I believe Best Buy is Tuesday & Saturday also. However, when I was there this past Saturday they said they had the regular 6 in stock but no 6+. Even all of the iPhone 6 & 6+ accessories were picked over & I needed to get a case to put the phone into immediately when it is in my possession on Thursday.

Where did you order from? I am seeing a lot of people getting shipment dates of mid-October - November & they end up getting their phones shipped out earlier than that. I was originally told Oct 13-20 & I'm getting mine on Oct 2.

Order the phones from AT&T. I'm back on the phone with them right now.

what is AT&T saying ralphk33......They are just giving me the run around, still saying my phone isn't getting delivered until the end of November...

Honestly, I wouldn't blame you for cancelling the order with them. I was very indecisive about ordering from them & actually ordered directly from Apple instead. The Apple Store still says ships in 3-4 weeks which is what it told me & when it's all said & done, ordering to having the phone in my hands would be less than 3 weeks.

I will say my BIL pre-ordered 30 mins to an hour before me & pre-ordered from AT&T & he is supposed to get his phone today via FedEx.

basically the same thing end of November. I just canceled my order.

I ordered my wife and I a 6 plus from AT&T on the 12th around 3pm, they gave us a date of Nov 27th, I waited 2 days and canceled, reordered from Apple on the 14th and we're getting ours this Thurs. I said that to say I know you hate to start all over but if you ordered right now today from Apple I believe that you will still get them before the date AT&T gave you. Apple said it would ship in 3-4 weeks but it shipped in 2 weeks and if the same thing happens for you that puts your delivery date a little passed mid Oct.

I am on a list at a local Target and I got excited when they called bit they were trying to sell me a 16 g phone. I am holding out for 64. Theor pitch was I would have all this iCloud storage. I still need apps locally!

Reading through the entire thread one thing is for sure: Apple is very disorganized on this. I pre-ordered on Sep 12 morning from Apple store, and have not seen any change in the status of my order since then. The first (and only) email I received after placing the order stated available to ship 3-4 weeks. I emailed Apple last week and not received a response to that. I don't feel like calling them just to be on hold through the wait and told the same thing. This is the 3rd week so even it magically becomes available to ship, it would arrive barely on schedule, hardly the "earlier than expected delivery" Apple claims.

I'm very impatient right now. I preordered my 128gb gray iPhone 6 plus and my expected shipping date is 10/31/14-11/11/14. I'm getting very ******. I wish AT&T had an email so that I can email them and complain. I tried to talk to them on twitter and Facebook and they just keep ignoring me and not answering my question.

I too pre-ordered from the ATT Store on Sept 12th at around 2pm EST. Ordered a phone for myself and my wife. (IPhone 6+ 64GB in Silver)

My date still says 11/9 - 11/27. Ridiculous that I have to wait until Thanksgiving for the phones.

Big mistake ordering with ATT. Shouldve ordered with Apple directly. I am almost 2.5 weeks into ordering and contemplating about cancelling

the ATT and starting a fresh, new order with Apple.

What do you guys think? Cancel or keep the ATT order?
