Upgraded to iOS 8 on my iPhone 4S.
PDFs with Password Protection no longer open in Safari but if I "open in iBooks" I will[ be prompted correctly.

The open password is 1234.
Safari in iOS8 does not show the password input form or anything for the PDFs protected with open password.
Safari in iOS7 does not have any problem at all.
More problems in opening a PDF in Safari from the web:
1) No password prompt if password protected (as discussed above)
2) No ability to use pinch gestures to zoom in to the PDF
3) No ability to click on PDF links
Its as if Safari no longer renders PDFs at all and only shows a static image of each page. This is very difficult to use!
Oh! Actually PDF links does not work on iOS 8.0 Safari.

is the example. If you click "Click Me!" test with Safari on iOS 7, you will be redirected to Apple.com.
But if you click the same text with Safari on iOS 8.0, nothing happens.
Upgraded to iOS 8.0.2
The problem is still unresolved. Need someone from Apple to investigate this.
Upgraded to 8.1 on iphone5 and iphone5c and the problem STILL there!

Yes, the upgrade to 8.1 does not solve the problem.
Does any of you try OS 8.1.1 beta's Safari?

Even on a brand new iphone6 with ios 8.3. The only way to "resolve" this problem right now is to use Gmail App instead of Apple Mail.
