Google Voice on iPhone 6 - Conditional Call Forwarding

Have new iPhone 6 on AT&T and for some reason the conditional call forwarding is not working properly. When dialing **004*1aaabbbcccc# it gives me a failed message. Anyone else experiencing this and if so have you found a solution?

Ditto. I stopped conditional call forwarding (CCF) on the old phone with the code from Google Voice's website and did not get an error, but when I tried to start CCF on the new iPhone 6 I got all those errors for each type of forwarding. I'm hoping this is just an AT&T server-side issue that will disappear and CCF codes will be accepted again soon.

What's weird is that if someone calls my GV number (which is forwarded to the iPhone 6) and I don't answer, it goes to AT&T voicemail, not back to GV. I thought that if no phones picked up when a GV number is called then GV handles the voicemail even if CCF isn't set (I was doing CCF so that people calling my iPhone # directly were sent to GV's voicemail so that I had transcription).

I have the same problem and tried all of the options above, but I still cannot set call forwarding on my iphone 6.

I went to an AT&T retail store and am told that I have to call Apple. Then I tried the options suggested here, still I get error messages and my iphone won't save the forwarding number.

I then called AT&T technical support and they are able to set my forwarding to GV. I then come back to my iPhone 6 trying to see whether the Call Forwarding is working. Noop. I still cannot save call forwarding number at all, and when I try to use *61*############ feature, I still get error message.

Anyone else has this problem?

Thanks for your thorough post Marcel. I just upgraded to an iPhone 6 from a classic 3GS. On that phone, I used *61* all the time without any issues. Fast forward to the 6 and I can't get it to accept any of the codes. I saw your main post and tried turning off LTE to no avail. None of the codes work.

This was the workaround I used to enable conditional call forwarding. I took out my nano sim from the 6 and put it into the ATT sim adapter that came with my nano sim card. I then put it into my old 3GS. Voila! All codes function on the 3GS. I did the *004* code, then deactivated and reactivated to make sure it wasn't a one-time fluke. Then I popped the nano sim back into the 6 and tried calling myself with my wife's phone. It forwarded my call after several rings. I then tried all of the codes again, to no avail. I started with deactivating and got error messages, then activating. More error messages.

So is this an iOS8 issue or iPhone 6 or some other setting I'm missing? How is it that most people are able to at least get the *61* command, etc. to work? Is there something I'm missing? For now, I'm happy my workaround seems to be functioning, but there has to be a better way.

Thanks to everyone in advance!

I still cannot set up the call forwarding on my iphone 6 using any *61 or *62 or *004 codes. After I dail this *6112022115678#, I always get an error message saying "Error performing request Unknown Error". Eventually, I had to call AT&T to have them set up forwarding for me. The problem is whenever I want to cancel, I have to call them and wait another 20 to 30 minutes. Bad.
