iphone 6 for verizon isn't verifying billing zip code and social security

I just got my phone in the mail, me a 16 GB silver iPhone 6, and my husband got a 64 GB silver iPhone 6. At the start up screen, it gets to a point where it wants the billing zip code, and the last 4 of the social security # to verify the account. My husband had no problem, but mine it keeps saying it cannot verify the account and to call 1-800-myiphone. Calling them, they just made it sound like we were not typing in the numbers correctly. Verizon tried everything on their end to get the phones active, but have had no luck. Has anyone heard of this problem and know of a fix for this? Plea

We called Verizon and Apple for probably 8 hours total yesterday, with no one being able to help from either party. The screen that causes the problem that I stated above they make it sound like they've never even heard of. Apple tells us we have to go through Verizon, Verizon tells us we have to go through Apple. It is very aggravating. So much of our time has been wasted with no results. She's driving an hour to a Verizon store after work, and from what the person above me states that proved unhelpful and they told him to go to an Apple Store, which is an hour and a half from where we live. This is really getting ridiculous.

I have this problem still. I've been on the phone with apple and verizon for about 5 hours today. They had me restore software though itunes but that didn't help. Finally, with apple and verizon techs both on the line at the same time, they came to the conclusion that the servers are too busy and i should just keep trying to activate my phone..................... It seems highly unlikely that this is the problem since I've been trying for over 24 hours now and thousands of other people have already activated their phones. I guess I'll just wait and call apple again when the same problem keeps happening.

My wife went to the verizon store today, and they said the phone is defective. She made an appointment at the apple store to return it, and hopefully exchange for another. If she would have got the phone from Verizon, they would have given her a 64 GB instead, but she didn't. The verizon associate even gave her his personal number for when she goes to verizon to return it and apple says "It has to do with Verizon, you'll have to go there." Sorry for the bad news Buddyhawks, but I think you have a defective phone just like me.

Like I said before, we both got phones and both used the same info, and I even attempted 20 seconds after her so it has nothing to do with the service.
