iPhone 6 screen yellow tint?

Just got my iPhone 6 and the screen seems to be dull with a yellowish tint. It's especially noticeable when the screen is next to my iPhone 5. Anyone else having this issue? I had it on my 4S and Apple swapped my phone twice. I'm hoping not to do that with my iPhone 6 and wondering if anyone knew what the deal was.

Agree 100%. I was a big fan of apple phones and apple brand till my last experience with IP6 and MBPr. The screen quality and quality control over all devices is very low, i would say extremely low taking price into account. Lower then on any other device I have checked. I checked samsungs (s3, s4, s5), HTCs and Blacberry, checked also with my girl's iP 4s, my friend's iP4 and iPhone 5s. All devices I have compared to were more or less white but without any gradient tints, just homogenous. I received 4th iP6 which is completely dimmer in one corner..unbelievable, not yellowish there, just dimmer. Now I need to decide to keep my previous iP6 with a yellowish corner or just change a brand. My father's iPad Air 2 which he bought last week has a one side much darker, pink from one side, just drama. I am also waiting for the 3rd MBPr (1st was half yellow on the screen, second was pinkish and darker in the corner). I have already decided that I probably will not buy a MBP as it's crazy to pay such money (over 2600 Euros) for a faulty screen ("pro" ones). I expected really high quality from apple which I was used to till now with many devices used before. I thought premium price tag is just to cover higher quality and control. Seems I was wrong. If I decided to keep the iP6 now, I am 100% sure that's my last device bought from Apple. Exchanging product so many times due to quality issues seems just crazy for me, especially that so far I didn't receive a good one. On the other hand I am sure that even If I want to, Apple store will not accept any more exchanges.

I could make a long photo list to compare every other device I checked from almost every brand which are in use by my friends and family. All of them were just good in terms of screen quality, I just didn't see any discoloration or problem with my eyes. 4 (iP6)+2 (MBPr)+ 1 (iPad AIr 2)= 7 apple devices which I have seen in a row had or have screen quality issues. Is retina worth it? In my opinion it's definitely not.

TBH man they should allow you as many as you like , you have paid them money and in return they gave you a bed device , power is in your corner.

I used to think Apple had such high quality products too but i guess that's all down the pan now and money is all that's on the mind.

They should offer a recall on faulty screens and replace them without customers having to chase them up about it , with how much money they are making they can afford to do it without making a dent in there all important profit margin.

I'm on my 3rd iPhone 6 and all of them had this yellow / darker tint at the top. Mostly in the right upper corner.

Second one also had the front camera which has moved.

I keep the 3rd one now as long as the front camera stays where it sould. Yellow tint at the top seems to be the problem with a lot of iPhone 6s.

My lucky husband has one with an almost perfect screen...but he has also the problem with the front camera (but less than my second device). But this does not bother him at all.

I think your screen is yellow on the top and a bit in bottom left corner. Camera can't show it in the same way as it look in a real world (unless u increase saturation in the photo), that's my experience. A day ago I decided I will accept a yellow screen and a slightly more yellowed bottom corner but after one day of reading some websites and looking at photos I've change my mind. Ie. after reading upper part of text and going with my eyes to the bottom part of the screen- the more yellowed part (on the whole yellow screen) distracts me more then I though It could. It is more visible in dark environment. Finally I decided to sent the phone back and take my money. I really need a smartphone but not a defected one.

I bought an iPhone 6 space gray that has a dark/slighlty warmer upper right corner. It distracts me when reading websites and using apps with a white background. This is funny because all of the stock Apple apps have a mainly white theme.

I can even still notice it when there is a dark background and white text. The white text in the right upper corner is darker/warmer than the text on the rest of the screen.

I sent it to the authorized reseller here and i hope they see the problem and replace it for me. Im not too optimistic that ill get a perfect replacement though, based on what i've read here 😟

From my experience its mostly noticeable in dark environment when I dim the screen. I guess they will "not see" the problem, but will replace the device, however I am not sure if there is any point of doing that. After 4 exchanges here, I finally decided to refund as I didn't get a good screen so far. 4/4 was yellowish, with deeper yellowish areas around. I still feel disappointed as the phone itself, the concept and design, as well as many features are great.

mine started with c3, and yes my screen is looks warmer on top-right-side. You guys are lucky because you can change your phone anytime you want, it doesn't matter how much replacement you got for. But me? i can't do that in my country because we dont have any apple stores here. we bought apple's product from our local apple authorized reseler, yes...reseller. It takes more than one months to get a replacement. And again, im here laying on my bed with my yellowish screen, can't ever get a replacement as easy as you guys can do. i envy you..

Add me to the list... I have done 2 exchanges in total, meaning I went through 3 different iPhone 6 devices and all three were substandard: first had yellow tint, second had extreme shading in top half of display, and third had the infamous color temperature shift from top to bottom. I just returned for a refund after that.

I then decided to "downgrade" to a 5S, since I traded in my iPhone 5 (never an issue with the screen) and essentially had no phone. I tried 3 different iPhone 5S devices in the store and issues were much the same! Extreme yellow tint or yellow spots on screen.

I ended up getting a used iPhone 5S from a total stranger, and the display isn't perfect but better than the brand new ones I've tried. It is really quite baffling. I have no idea how I lucked out with my iPhone 5, but it seems that the current production standards are quite low.
