IOS 8 landscape bug

Thank you for posting. I am having the same problem with my iPhone 6. You have described it accurately and hopefully, there is a fix soon.

And just for the record, I did the hard reset (power button & home button together) and it did not fix the issue.

So now just patiently (trying) waiting for the fix.

Thank you for your well documented reply. Same problem I am having (iPhone 6, 8.0.2), and I've taken the same steps to attempt to resolve it. I can only hope Apple is aware of the problem and working on a solution. An acknowledgement of the problem by Apple would really help me remain patient.

Looks like ios 8.1 is coming tomorrow. Let's pray they have fixed this bug in that release.

I'm having exactly the same issue.. iPhone 6 with 8.0.2. Hopefully this bug is revised in Monday's release! It's very annoying!

By now there are over 11.000 views on this thread, so I think we can safely say that this is an iOS 8 bug. On my iPhone 6 the bug can be fixed turning off zoomed mode, but that does not explain why it also happens on the iPhone 5 and the 5S.

If it is indeed a bug, why doesn't it effect every phone running iOS 8? Neither of my two iPhone 6 has any issues with Orientation. Other's have commented they've gotten a replacement phone and it's solved it for them. Why it happens on perfectly functioning iPhone 5's however, could mean a bug. I'm really saying it's not 100% certain it's a bug. If it was, it would do the same on all devices and it clearly doesn't.

How did you turn off the zoom mode?

Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom Off

TTurning off zoom has fixed my issues with this (at least for the last 10 days)

Are you guys talking about zoomed icons in the display and brightness or in the accessibility zoomed feature?

Yep. Having this issue intermittently. My zoom setting is off and has been off. A reset clears it up. Oddly, I wasn't able to post this from my phone. I started to type and nothing appeared on the screen. Weird.

The number of views does not mean 11,000 people are affected by this issue. It only means that 11,000 page views have occurred on this thread - and that means page 1, page 2, page 3, etc. I've read this entire thread and this last page several times and I don't have the issue.

So tell us why you are even posting to this thread???
