Can't sync music anymore with iOS 8. All disappeared.

Okay, I just updated my iPhone 4s to iOS 8 two days ago. Today, I wanted to put more music from my iTunes in my PC. Note that my iTunes in PC is recently updated. When I started syncing my new music, it won't work. When I start playing a song in my phone, won't work too. Almost all disappeared. From having 664 songs, I have 16 left. Please help. I want my music back.

Now you all know why I no longer use or bother with Itunes. I use Copy Trans. It pretty much does everything Itunes does, but without all the trouble. And the music manager is free!

BTW, I was having the same issue with my music disappearing after the IOS 8.02 upgrade. Resetting the Network cleared it all up. I have no idea why it worked, but it did. Thanks!

OMG! thank you so much!! i was having a slightly different issue, but this fixed it!!

i had added 4 cds (yes people still buy these : P) to my iPhone 5S, I manually manage rather than syncing, and suddenly all of my music was missing from my phone, it would appear on my phone when connected to the computer in iTunes though... Resetting the network settings fixed it!

thanks again!

This is ABSOLUTELY WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME!!! I have 12 playlists. I uncheck all. I then check 2 playlists. I connect via usb to pc. Before I sync i go to the playlists.

_ Some playlists I unchecked are now ALL CHECKED

- Some playlists I unchecked now have SOME CHECKED

- The 3 playlists that I checked and wanted to sync: 1 unchecked ALL, 1 stayed checked, and one has 12 songs checked and the rest unchecked.

After searching all over the internet - I worked with tech support - it was a disaster. they accessed my computer, saw what I said was true, had me empty and reload the entire iPhone - I lost messages, restored tons of photos and apps i did not want - and now have NO ROOM FOR MUSIC.

i just hate apple right now.

I was having a similar problem. I found the existing songs on my iPhone wouldn't play and started greying out.

When I tried to sync songs to my iPhone 6 all songs would have the dotted grey circle outline and not be visible on my phone when the sync finished.

I found that once I unchecked 'sync over wifi' and plugged the iPhone in and resynced it started working again.

Hope this helps someone.
